Parking issues?

Dear residents, 

We often receive reports about vehicles parked inconsiderately or causing annoyance within the communities. 

Whilst we too understand the frustrations that this can cause, it is important to note that parking enforcement is generally the responsibility of the local council, not the police. Police can only take actions where a vehicle is causing obstruction, danger or is otherwise being used unlawfully. 

If your concern relates to poor parking then please report this to the council. Traffic enforcement officers can issue vehicles with tickets, clamps and removals in some circumstances.
